Im Chäslager zeigen die Tänzer Dana und Shinichi Iova-Koga erstmals Auszüge ihres neuen Stücks. Ein einmaliges Erlebnis, weil sich das Stück stetig weiterentwickelt.

«Bewegung ist ein essenzieller Teil unseres Lebens», erklärt Dana Iova-Koga (43) im Universe 9 in Hergiswil. Früher sei die Menschheit immer in Bewegung gewesen – insbesondere um sich Nahrung zu beschaffen. «Heute ist das zwar nicht mehr nötig, aber der Bewegungsdrang ist geblieben. Und Tanz ist ein uralter Weg, um sich auszudrücken.»

Ihre Arbeit und die ihres Mannes Shinichi (50) mit Tanz und mit meditativen, körperlichen Übungen, die Dehnungen und fliessende Bewegungsformen – oft im Zeitlupentempo – beinhalten, seien insofern auch eine Reflexion von Dingen, die wir teilweise verloren hätten. Hingabe und Achtsamkeit für den Körper, sich mit Sorgfalt um dessen Zustand zu kümmern, darauf zu hören und Übereinstimmung und Gleichgewicht mit anderen Menschen und ihren Körpern zu finden, ergänzt Shinichi weitere zentrale Punkte ihrer Kunst.
