Contemporary and traditional Japanese performance practices juxtaposed with the improvisation practice known as Action Theater™
A 2-day workshop taught by Shinichi Iova-Koga
Saturday, September 23: 10am – 2pm
Sunday, September 24: 3pm – 7pm
The first two hours of each day will focus on encouraging the body to achieve flow, precision, lightness and density. The last two hours will concentrate attention on the relationship between actions, space, bodies and sound through the lens of Action Theater™.
There will be a 15 minute break between the first and second half of each day.
